Next week, IT experts from around the world will be heading to Las Vegas to experience the latest in digital business transformation at Citrix Synergy 2016.
The May 24-26 conference — so large it requires three venues — offers opportunities to view demos of the latest Citrix advancements as well as insights into what’s coming next. Training, and plenty of Q&A are on the docket, as well.
The conference kicks off Tuesday with a keynote address from Citrix CEO Kirill Tatarinov, who will explain how the convergence of cloud, mobile and big data is driving a need for change. Tatarinov will shares the Citrix vision for how digital transformation enables new opportunities.
Other speakers include Jay Cavalcanto with Exelon, Christine Ooro Singh with the NewYork-Presbyterian Health System, Brad Anderson with Microsoft and Mark Kirby from Liberty Mutual Insurance Group.
Synergy 2016 offers nearly 100 technical training breakouts of varying lengths in five tracks. There’s also hand-on training such as the self-guided Solutions Demo Sandbox, which offers the opportunity to get Citrix Certified onsite. An instructor-led Learning Labs pre-conference workshop will offer in-depth technical instruction led by Citrix experts.
Two “experts” areas will offer demos stations focusing on products and solutions, as well as an opportunity to get niggling questions answered.
Networking, of course, will be in full force, with plenty of opportunities to meet and greet industry wizards and wannabe wizards.
